Thom Christopher, 1940 – 2024

TV actor Thom Christopher, 84, died on Dec. 5. He played twins Carlo Hesser and Mortimer Bern on One Life to Live (from 1990-2008), and also had recurring roles on the soaps Loving and Guiding Light. He was loved by sci-fi fans for his role as half-man, half-bird Hawk in Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, and from the 1970s through the mid-2010s, the tough-guy looking Christopher was seen in such shows as Cannon, Harry O, Kojak, Simon & Simon, T.J. Hooker, and Law & Order; he also played Aristotle Onassis in the 2001 TV-movie Jackie, Ethel, Joan: The Women of Camelot.
