Teresa Gimpera, 1936 – 2024

Spanish actress and model Teresa Gimpera, 87, died in her hometown of Barcelona on July 23. Starting her career as a model and in TV commercials, she entered films in 1967, and through 2016 appeared in more than 100 movies and TV shows, in Spain, France, and Italy. Among her better known vehicles were Fata Morgana, Lucky the Inscrutable, Ace of Hearts, The Spirit of the Beehive, Eagles Over London, Hannah, Queen of the Vampires, and The Night of the Devils. Her second husband (from 1990 till his 2014 death) was US actor Craig Hill.
