Actor Paul Teal, 35, died on Nov. 18. No cause of death has yet been announced, though cancer has been coyly hinted at. Teal had two projects in production at the time of his death, including the TV series The Hunting Wives. His TV debut was as a womanizing movie star in 7 episodes of One Tree Hill; his other TV appearances included small or supporting roles in Good Behavior, The Walking Dead, Outer Banks, and George & Tammy. The Wilmington, NC, native was a mainstay of the town’s many theaters, appearing in The Producers, Box and Cox, Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson, and Grey Gardens, among other plays. “He was such a perfectionist, but a perfectionist in a very healthy way,” said director Shane Fernando. “He was always so supportive. Talent is one thing, but he was just a joy to work with and direct because of how supportive he was.”
