Scottish character actress Pat Heywood, 92, died on June 26, her family has just announced. Heywood starred on TV in the sitcom Lucky Feller, the miniseries Wuthering Heights, and the anthology East of Ipswich. Born in the elopement capitol Gretna Green, she acted with the Old Vic Theatre (including a five-year run of Salad Days). Onscreen, Heywood played the Nurse in Franco Zeffirelli’s Romeo and Juliet, also appearing in Goodbye, Mr. Chips, the appalling Staircase, Whoever Slew Auntie Roo?, 10 Rillington Place, All the Way Up, Young Winston, The Nelson Affair, and Wish You Were Here. She was married to actor Oliver Neville till his death in 2021; their daughter, Sarah Neville, is also an actress (Emmerdale Farm).
