Nicholas Pryor, 1935 – 2024

Character actor Nicholas Pryor, 89, died on Oct. 7. Over his long career (1958 – 2021), he appeared in numerous soaps (Young Doctor Malone, Another World, All My Children, The Edge of Night) as well as such movies and TV shows as Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Coronet Blue, The Happy Hooker, Airplane!, Lou Grant, Tales of the Gold Monkey, Moonlighting, L.A. Law, and Beverly Hills 90210. Like many performers, he began his career onstage, and was on Broadway in The Egghead, Love Me a Little, Howie, and The Highest Tree. Pryor is survived by his fourth wife (since 1993), actress Christine Belford.
