Australian actor and TV presenter Lex Marinos, 75, died on Sept. 13, “at home, at a moment of his choosing, surrounded by family and the sounds of Bob Dylan,” according to his family. (It is not known what the cause of death was, but “the sounds of Bob Dylan” may have been involved.) Born in Wagga Wagga to Greek immigrants, Marinos’s most famous role was as son-in-law Bruno on the sitcom Kingswood Country; he also appeared in some 50 other TV shows and movies (NCIS: Sydney, King’s Men, Tickled Pink, Embassy, Pizza, The Slap). He hosted Late Night Legends on TV, and worked on radio as well. Marinos told the Australian Writers’ Centre, “The only advice that I’ve ever given my kids was find something that you enjoy doing and then see if you can make a living out of it, because we live in a privileged country where you can do that.”
