John Erwin, 1936 – 2024

Voice actor John Erwin, 88, died “around Dec. 20,” according to The Hollywood Reporter (hi, Mike!). Erwin appeared “in person” in such shows as Rawhide, Citizen Soldier, and 13 Fighting Men, but he was best known for voicing cartoon characters: Reggie on various Archie shows, and He-Man on numerous He-Man shows and specials (as well as on Family Guy); his voice also turned up on Babe, Malcolm  & Eddie, Spacecats, Foofur, and Groovie Ghoulies. Erwin also voiced the snooty Morris the Cat on countless 9Lives cat food commercials.
