TV producer Felicia Minei Behr (All My Children, Ryan’s Hope) died on March 2. She was 83. Minei Behr (did people call her “mini bar” behind her back?) was perhaps the first female daytime television producer, joining All My Children in 1970 (a post she held through 1996). She also produced Ryan’s Hope (from 1981-89) and As the World Turns (1992-99). She started as a secretary at CBS in 1960 (she was a Katharine Gibbs Girl), and rose to the top, working on The Jackie Gleason Show, The Ed Sullivan Show, and The Garry Moore Show, also eventually producing The View.
