Eduardo Xol, 1966 - 2024

Actor, pianist and reality star Eduardo Xol, 58, died on Sept. 19, several days after having been stabbed in his Palm Springs apartment (a suspect has been taken into custody, but not yet charged). Xol, an L.A. native, played piano with the Los Angeles Philharmonic when only 13. He moved to Mexico and acted in telenovelas, as well as releasing several albums. Moving back to the US, Xol appeared on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition as a landscaper from seasons 2-8; he also wrote Home Sense and Extreme Entertaining Made Simple. Of his schedule, Xol said, “I’ve become a bit of a workaholic. I’m learning to say no to things. And I’ll go home to the house I grew up in and immediately relax.”
