Voice-over actor Doc Harris, 76, died on Oct. 5. Harris voiced Grogar (in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic), and narrated or played various characters in such cartoons as Camp Candy, Captain N: The Game Master, Bucky O’Hare and the Toad Wars, Monster Rancher, and Dragon Ball Z; he also acted in one episode of The X-Files. Harris started his career as a radio DJ in his native Canada. Fellow voice actor Ian James Corlett posted, “Doc was so gracious of spirit to help out a young gun like me. A guy with essentially little to no experience,” and CBR writer Chike Nwaenie noted that “Harris was known for his silky and deep voice, able to pull in viewers with his deft intonation.”
