Denys Graham, 1926 – 2024

Welsh stage, screen and TV actor Denys Graham, 98, has died, his family announced on Oct. 29. He was best known as Percy Hoskins (who had more daughters than Eddie Cantor) on TV’s Rumpole of the Bailey, but from the 1950s-90s he was also seen in such films and TV shows as Coronation Street, Zulu, The Dam Busters, Dunkirk, Modesty Blaise, Jubilee, Lovejoy, and The Bill. The RADA graduate was also an accomplished pianist, and appeared on the West End in Under Milk Wood, Waiting for Godot, and Grand Hotel, and spent a season with the Royal Shakespeare Company at Stratford-upon-Avon.
