Welsh drummer Dennis Bryon, 75, died on Nov. 14. Bryon worked with the Bee Gees from 1974-80, a few years after their drummer Colin Petersen, who also died this week. He also worked with such stars as Barbra Streisand, Kenny Rogers, Jimi Hendrix, Melanie, and Yvonne Elliman, and with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. He formed his own band in 1966 (they appeared in the film Scream and Scream Again, singing the theme song). Bryon joined the Bee Gees in 1973, playing on such albums as Saturday Night Fever, Mr. Natural, Main Course, Children of the World, and Spirits Having Flown. He later moved to Nashville, where he worked with local artists, segueing into folk and country music. In 2015, Bryon wrote his memoirs, You Should Be Dancing: My Life with the Bee Gees.
