French stage and screen actress Christine Boisson, 68, died from lung disease on Oct. 21. Discovered as a teenager, she shot to infamy as a very naughty girl in Emmanuelle. She went on to appear in more than 80 films, none of them seen in the US except in art houses.  Though known mostly for her screen work, Boisson had a lengthy stage career, beginning in 1977 with The Seagull. Through the early 2000s, she appeared in Paris and in regional theaters in such fare as Antony and Cleopatra (Shakespeare, not Shaw), Pinter’s Ashes to Ashes, The Vagina Monologues, and de Musset’s Lorenzaccio.
